The HERBOLD debaler has been specially developed for breaking up compressed bales, briquettes and also for the dosing of large material portions.
The material is placed on a horizontal feed belt with the aid of a forklift truck, although placement by means of a bale-gripper is particularly helpful, since in this case the binding wire can be removed as long as the bale still hangs from the clamps positioned above the feed belt. The bale is deposited in the direction of the press on the feed belt. The belt is designed to be able to hold several bales simultaneously. The bale is transported forward by the feed force of the belt, and then broken up and separated by the two separately driven rollers, which are equipped with replaceable teeth. The individual pieces then fall onto an outlet belt, which serves as a buffer belt and transports the product to the next process stage.
The advantages of the HERBOLD debaler at a glance:
- specially careful breaking up of bales: the breaking off of PET bottle tops is almost completely avoided: an important consideration when corks and other foreign bodies have to be removed in a following sieve machine or crusher without PET loss
- particularly effective breaking up of bales: residual adhesion of bottles to one another is almost completely prevented. A second process stage is only required for subsequent separation when processing briquettes
- also suitable for highly-compressed bales: even bales with a weight of 500 kg, which in conventional worm-gear debalers tend to “bounce” on top of the shaft, are reliably processed by the HERBOLD debaler. The trend towards these higher bale weights will certainly continue, making this machine particularly attractive
- compact design, lower height difference to overcome between feed and outlet
- convenient replacement of parts subject to wear, without welding or laborious dismantling of complete assemblies
- outstanding price/performance ratio
The HERBOLD debaler is available with two drive variants:
- For normal compressed bales and performances of up to 2 t/h with 9.2 + 15 KW drive
- For highly-compressed bales and performances of up to 5 t/h with 2 x 15 KW drives for the rollers
